Vanessa Williams and Matt Henry announce their final performances in The Devil Wears Prada

The show’s original Miranda and Nigel are waving goodbye to the West End production later this year


Vanessa Williams and Matt Henry have announced their final dates in the West End’s The Devil Wears Pradaat the Dominion Theatre. Williams will complete her run on 19 September, whilst Henry will finish as Nigel on 17 October. The new performers taking over their roles have yet to be announced.

Based on Lauren Weisberger’s best-selling 2003 novel and the 2006 film starring Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep, The Devil Wears Prada follows aspiring journalist Andy as she secures an assistant position at fashion magazine Runway, only to realise she’s well out of her depth working for the terrifying Miranda Priestly and navigating the world of fashion. The musical adaptation, which opened in the West End in December 2024, has become the fastest‑selling show in the Dominion Theatre’s history. Read our review of the show here.

The current West End cast of The Devil Wears Prada includes Stevie Doc (winner of ITV’s Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream) as Andy, with Taila Halford (Shucked, School of Rock) as Emily, Keelan McAuley (Clueless, Heathers) as Nate, and Dominic Andersen (Heathers, The Rocky Horror Picture Show) as Christian.

The ensemble are Gabby Antrobus, Georgia Aspinall, Anta Bah, Selena Barron, Evonnee Bentley-Holder, Pamela Blair, Jenna Bonner, Xenoa Campbell-Ledgister, Lloyd Davies, Jinny Gold, Selina Hamilton, Kimberley Hoyle,Luke Jackson, Emma Johnson, Justin-Lee Jones, Debbie Kurup, Mark Lamb, Ethan Le Phong, Brandon Lee Sears, Nathan Lorainey-Dineen, Dean Makowski-Clayton, Shannon Molloy, Eleanor Peach, Joshua Robinson, Joshua Steel, Kayleigh Thadani, Harry Tunningley, Alex Woodward, and Tara Yasmin.

The show features music by Elton John, direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell, lyrics by Shaina Taub and Mark Sonnenblick, a book by Kate Wetherhead, set design by Tim Hatley, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Bruno Poet, sound design by Gareth Owen, and hair, wigs and makeup design by Campbell Young Associates.
