Bananarama, Jack Savoretti and Patti Smith to headline Live At Chelsea 2027

The Royal Hospital Chelsea summer series returns for five nights, with two more 2027 headliners still to come

Live At Chelsea is heading back to its historic riverside home for five nights from 9–13 June 2027, with Bananarama, Jack Savoretti and the Patti Smith Quartet leading the first announcement. Two further headliners, for Wednesday and Thursday, are still under wraps.

Sir Christopher Wren’s Royal Hospital becomes a fully seated outdoor concert venue each summer, with the stage framed by the same grounds that host the Chelsea Flower Show. Last summer brought The Beach Boys, Sparks, Blue and The Proclaimers to Chelsea, when the festival returned after a four year hiatus.

Friday night belongs to Bananarama this year, joined by Jason Donovan and T’Pau. Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward hit Chelsea during the 40th-anniversary year of Wow!, home to ‘I Heard A Rumour’, ‘Love In The First Degree’ and ‘I Want You Back’. The date also follows 2026’s expanded 40th-anniversary editions of True Confessions, plus 2025 concert release Glorious: Live In London.

Jack Savoretti takes Saturday 12 June, 20 years after debut album Between The Minds. His ninth studio record, We Will Always Be The Way We Were, arrived in April 2026, followed by a 29-date UK and European tour stretching through the autumn.

Chelsea’s closing night this year goes to the Patti Smith Quartet, bringing one of rock’s most enduring voices to the Royal Hospital grounds. The show follows a milestone few records get to celebrate – 50 years of Horses, marked by anniversary performances and an expanded edition that opened the vaults for previously unreleased material.

A portion of proceeds from Live At Chelsea supports the ongoing care of The Chelsea Pensioners.
