Next year’s calendar is filling up fast. The 2027 UK festival season is beginning to take shape, bringing another summer of huge outdoor shows, curated weekender line-ups and annual favourites back across the country. Here’s our guide to the UK festivals worth knowing about in 2027, with all the latest line-up news and essential details in one place, as we get them.
Country to Country 2027

When is it? 12-14 March
Where is it? The O2, London; OVO Hydro, Glasgow; AO Arena, Manchester
Country to Country kicks off the 2027 festival season early – smartly keeping things under cover at sets split between The O2 in London and the OVO Hydro in Glasgow. For the first time, C2C is bringing Manchester to the party in 2027 too, with the AO Arena joining as the third main stage. Next year’s artists have yet to be revealed, leaving the UK’s big annual country gathering with a sizeable poster to fill.
The 2026 edition brought serious Nashville weight across the Atlantic. Zach Top, Keith Urban and Brooks & Dunn rotated through headline duties, joined by Scotty McCreery, Russell Dickerson, Drake Milligan, Kameron Marlowe, Ashley Cooke, Alana Springsteen and a deep bench of newer country names. C2C has always made room for future favourites alongside artists with decades of songs behind them, so the first 2027 announcement should give country fans plenty to pick through.

The Great Escape Festival 2027
When is it? 12-15 May
Where is it? Various venues, Brighton
The Great Escape takes over Brighton in May, sending hundreds of new artists into pubs, clubs, theatres, basements and seafront venues across the city. The 2027 line-up has yet to be revealed, which feels appropriate for a festival built around finding names before everybody else does.
The 20th-anniversary edition in 2026 featured more than 450 artists across 35-plus venues, with Kingfishr and Peaches taking on spotlight shows and Shame, PVA, Westside Cowboy, Lime Garden, Lottery Winners and Nectar Woode among the wider programme. Expect another city-sized search for your new favourite band in 2027.

Neighbourhood Weekender 2027
When is it? 29-30 May
Where is it? Victoria Park, Warrington
Who’s playing? Neighbourhood Weekender 2027 already has the makings of one enormous northern singalong. Courteeners close the weekend at Warrington’s Victoria Park, following Saturday co-headliners Paul Heaton and The Reytons.
The bill keeps the guitars coming with Kingfishr, The Vaccines, The Fratellis and The Coral among the names heading to Warrington on 29–30 May. Anyone who likes their festival choruses loud enough to reach the Mersey has plenty to work with here.

Slam Dunk Festival 2027: North and South
When is it? 29-30 May
Where is it? Hatfield Park, Hertfordshire and Temple Newsam, Leeds
Who’s playing? Slam Dunk heads back to its two homes on 29–30 May 2027, starting at Temple Newsam in Leeds on Saturday before the full bill packs up and does it again at Hatfield Park on Sunday. The 2027 artists have yet to be revealed.
Its 20th-anniversary edition in 2026 gives a useful measure of the festival’s reach: Good Charlotte and Sublime sat alongside Knocked Loose, Taking Back Sunday, Malevolence, State Champs, PRESIDENT and Tonight Alive. Pop-punk is still Slam Dunk’s bread and butter, but modern hardcore, emo and metalcore are increasingly filling up the plate. Whatever 2027 brings, two days and two sites leave plenty of room for another deep dive through alternative music’s many subcultures.

Terminal V Festival 2027
When is it? 5-6 June
Where is it? TBC, Glasgow
Terminal V enters a new era in 2027, swapping Edinburgh for a secret industrial location in Glasgow. Organisers have described the new site as a previously unused space built around a fully outdoor festival experience, making 2027 the biggest geographical shake-up in Terminal V’s story so far. The line-up has yet to be announced.
Its final Edinburgh edition in 2026 gives Glasgow plenty to inherit. Sara Landry, Ben Hemsley, I Hate Models, Klangkuenstler, Mall Grab, Robert Hood, Anetha, Clara Cuvé and DJ Gigola were among more than 50 artists covering hard techno, house and the various shadowy corners in between. Same festival, brand-new playground.

When is it? 9-13 June
Where is it? Donington Park, Derby
Who’s playing? Download returns to Donington Park in June 2027 with its next line-up still under wraps. For anyone wondering how high the bar currently sits, the 2026 edition put Limp Bizkit, Guns N’ Roses and Linkin Park across the top of the poster, with Architects, BABYMETAL, Bad Omens, Halestorm, Cypress Hill, Pendulum and dozens more underneath.
That bill stretched from classic hard rock to hardcore, nu-metal and the newer end of heavy music without losing the distinctly Donington feeling. The names for 2027 still have to land – the riffs, reassuringly, have somewhere booked to go.
LIDO Festival
When is it? TBC
Where is it? Victoria Park, London
Who’s playing? LIDO’s first two years have established Victoria Park’s Lido Field as a place for artist-led festival days with unusually focused bills. Details for 2027 have yet to be revealed.
The 2026 season centred on Maribou State, with Kelis, Folamour, Theo Parrish B2B Moodymann, Calibre, Kelly Lee Owens and LTJ Bukem. The curatorial idea remains the intriguing bit – one big name setting the tone, then a full day constructed around it.

Isle of Wight Festival 2027
When is it? 17-20 June
Where is it? Seaclose Park, Newport
Who’s playing? The Isle of Wight Festival returns to Seaclose Park from 17–20 June 2027, although the line-up remains under wraps. The island has already confirmed the dates and started the countdown; the artist names come next.
Its 2026 main stage welcomed Lewis Capaldi, Calvin Harris and The Cure, with Wet Leg, Teddy Swims, The Last Dinner Party, The Kooks, Rita Ora and Two Door Cinema Club elsewhere across the weekend.

State Fayre Festival
When is it? 17-18 June
Where is it? Hylands Park, Chelmsford
Who’s playing? State Fayre heads back to Hylands Park, Chelmsford, from 18–20 June 2027 after drawing more than 50,000 people to its debut. The second line-up has yet to be announced.
Kings Of Leon, Alanis Morissette and The Lumineers all headlined 2026, with The Black Crowes, Counting Crows, Stephen Wilson Jr., Kip Moore, Orville Peck and Kingfishr helping fill three days of rock, Americana, folk and country. Add the festival’s US state-fair styling and serious enthusiasm for barbecue and Essex gets another sizeable slice of Americana next summer.

BST Hyde Park 2027
When is it? TBC
Where is it? Hyde Park, London
Who’s playing? American Express presents BST Hyde Park has yet to reveal its 2027 headliners, leaving one of London’s biggest summer line-ups tantalisingly blank for now. The 2026 series offers a fairly persuasive reminder of how wide the Great Oak Stage can cast its net.
Garth Brooks opened the run in front of 65,000 people, before headline days from ATEEZ, Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, Duran Duran, Pitbull and Lewis Capaldi. K-pop, country and British pop all found room in the same Hyde Park programme, with Scissor Sisters, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, OneRepublic, The War On Drugs and Kesha among the supporting names. Whoever fills 2027’s bill will have some big shoes waiting backstage.

Lytham Festival 2027
When is it? 30 June-4 July
Where is it? Lytham Green, Lytham St. Anne’s
Who’s playing? Lytham Festival 2027 is already starting to colour in its five nights on Lytham Green. Fatboy Slim tops Friday 2 July with Becky Hill, before Robbie Williams takes Saturday’s headline slot.
That gives 2027 an immediate run of dance-pop hooks and one of British pop’s deepest singalong catalogues. The festival runs from 30 June to 4 July, with further artists still to come – three confirmed names down, plenty of Green left to fill.

Pepsi MAX presents Parklife 2027
When is it? 10-11 July
Where is it? Heaton Park, Manchester
Who’s playing? Pepsi MAX presents Parklife 2027 returns to Heaton Park on 10–11 July, with its next line-up still to be announced. Manchester knows the drill by now: several stages, several corners of club culture and a weekend that can jump from rap to house before you have worked out where half your group disappeared to.
The 2026 bill brought Calvin Harris, Sammy Virji, Skepta, Zara Larsson, Nia Archives, Chris Stussy and Josh Baker together, alongside Rudim3ntal, Kettama, Armand Van Helden and plenty more.

Lost Minds 2027
When is it? 10 July
Where is it? Exhibition Park, Newcastle
Who’s playing? Lost Minds 2027 returns to Newcastle’s Exhibition Park on 10 July, with the artist line-up still waiting to be unveiled. Its fifth edition in 2026 packed more than 10,000 dance fans around four distinct stages covering EDM, trance, hard techno and hardstyle.
Darren Styles closed the Main Stage that year, with Angerfist, Holy Priest, Oliver Heldens, Ferry Corsten, Billy Gillies and Laidback Luke among a bill built for sustained BPM rather than gentle afternoon lounging.

Latitude Festival 2027
When is it? 22-25 July
Where is it? Henham Park, Suffolk
Who’s playing? Latitude returns to Henham Park from 22–25 July 2027, with the next line-up yet to be revealed. Its 20th edition in 2026 showed the full reach of the Suffolk weekender: 135,000 people across the weekend and headline sets from David Byrne, Teddy Swims and Lewis Capaldi.
The Last Dinner Party, Wet Leg, Self Esteem, The Flaming Lips and Tom Grennan added to the music, while comedy, literature, dance and late-night stages kept Henham Park busy well beyond the Obelisk Arena.

Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2027
When is it? 29-31 July
Where is it? Belladrum Estate, Inverness
Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2027 returns to the Belladrum Estate near Inverness from 29–31 July, with the 2027 line-up still under wraps. The Highland weekender has grown into one of Scotland’s major camping festivals without losing the homegrown character suggested by its setting – big outdoor stages, Scottish artists woven through the bill and enough musical range to keep several generations busy at once.
The Human League and Callum Beattie led the 2026 edition, backed by Mika, Razorlight, Rizzle Kicks, Kula Shaker, Scouting For Girls, Brooke Combe, Lloyd Cole, Trail West and Valtos. The bill stretched comfortably from pop and indie to folk, trad and country, with a daily capacity of around 20,000. The 2027 names are still coming; the Highlands already know where the party is happening.

Camp Bestival 2027
When is it? 29 July-1 August
Where is it? Lulworth Castle, Dorset
Who’s playing? The Dorset festi-holiday brought around 30,000 people together in 2026, once again proving that a family festival needn’t treat the grown-ups as unpaid taxi drivers with tents.
Fatboy Slim hosted an all-day Castle Stage takeover that year, with De La Soul among his guests, while Bastille, Self Esteem, Billy Ocean, Example, Leftfield and Fabio & Grooverider appeared elsewhere on site. Wilderness Festival 2027
When is it? 5-8 August
Where is it? Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire
Who’s playing? Wilderness Festival 2027 returns to Cornbury Park from 5–8 August. The music line-up remains unannounced, leaving Oxfordshire’s most elaborately dressed field party with plenty still hidden behind the trees.
The 2026 bill paired Scissor Sisters, Carl Cox and The Last Dinner Party with Soulwax, Baxter Dury, Saint Etienne, Groove Armada and a special SISTERS takeover curated by Annie Lennox, though the festival still made room for feasting, talks, wellbeing and hot tubs.

All Points East

Where is it? Victoria Park, London
Who’s playing? All Points East has yet to reveal its 2027 programme, but Victoria Park gave it plenty to follow in 2026. Across six major show days, the east London festival moved through R&B, pop, hip hop, alternative rock and hardcore with a different world built around each headliner.
Jorja Smith and Tems shared the opening Friday, followed across the series by Lorde, an Outbreak Fest day topped by Deftones, two Tyler, The Creator shows and Twenty One Pilots. PinkPantheress, Zara Larsson, IDLES, Turnstile, Daniel Caesar and Wunderhorse were among the artists filling out those individual bills. Roll on the next batch of Victoria Park posters.

Rockstar Energy presents Creamfields 2027
When is it? 26-29 August
Where is it? Daresbury Estate, Cheshire
Who’s playing? Creamfields has already cracked open its 2027 line-up – and The Prodigy got first dibs. Liam Howlett and Maxim return to the festival after 14 years to headline the APEX Stage on Saturday 28 August, during the 30th-anniversary year of The Fat of the Land. Creamfields itself also celebrates 30 years in 2027.
The full bill still has plenty of blank space. In 2026, Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Disclosure, Armin van Buuren, Underworld and Amelie Lens helped soundtrack Daresbury, alongside a vast spread of house, techno, trance and bass music. Creamfields returns from 26–29 August 2027, with The Prodigy setting a suitably combustible opening marker.

Reading & Leeds 2027
When is it? 26-29 August
Where is it? Richfield Ave, Reading / Bramham Park, Leeds
Who’s playing? The Twins return from 26–29 August 2027, with Reading and Leeds 2027 artists have yet to be announced.
Their 2026 headline roster covered a remarkable amount: Charli xcx, Chase & Status Live, Dave, Florence + The Machine, Fontaines D.C. and RAYE all topped the bill, with Kasabian taking Leeds’ Thursday headline slot. Skepta, Kneecap, JADE, Geese, sombr and Josh Baker helped push the poster further out in different directions. Six headliners made 2026 feel like a snapshot of where huge UK live music sits right now and the 2027 reveal has a tough act to follow…
