Organisers of American Express presents BST Hyde Park have announced Taylor Swift as their latest headliner for next summer’s festival.

The megastar will take to the stage at London’s iconic park on Saturday 11 July 2020.

The concert will be Taylor’s first confirmed UK headline date since the release of her seventh studio album Lover in August.

Featuring the singles Me!, You Need To Calm Down and the album’s title track Lover, the LP debuted at No.1 on both sides of the Atlantic and received rave reviews. The record also earned Swift three nominations at the forthcoming GRAMMY Awards, taking place in Los Angeles this January.

Her last UK shows came in 2018 when her reputation stadium tour made stops at London’s Wembley Stadium and Manchester’s Etihad Stadium.

The global superstar will now make her much-anticipated return to the UK as she brings songs from her latest album Lover to American Express presents BST Hyde Park on 11 July 2020.

The award-winning festival returns in 2020, bringing some of the biggest names in music to London’s Hyde Park for a series of outdoor shows this summer. Taylor Swift joins the previously announced Little Mix, who’ll be headlining the event on Saturday 4 July 2020, and Pearl Jam, who’ll be headlining on Saturday 10 July 2020.
