What is VIP?
First things first, what is a VIP package? Essentially, anything that elevates your experience above the general admission ticket. There’s no one-size-fits-all definition. Depending on the event, the VIP package will differ. However, most of the packages outlined here can be broken into three different categories:
VIP Camping / Accommodation:
This is usually purchased in addition to your festival ticket, giving you access to a specific VIP camping area – or accommodation (camper, cabin, hotel). When you’re doing a multi-day festival extravaganza, having a comfortable place to recharge after a big day is essential for your longevity and overall enjoyment of a festival.
VIP Ticket:
A VIP ticket will give you access to specific VIP perks. This could be a VIP lounge, exclusive merch, meet and greets, express entry, VIP DJs, luxury toilets, exclusive camping or accommodation, specialty food vendors and more. When you purchase a VIP ticket, some will include the price of festival admission in the package, and some don’t. Make sure to check this!
VIP Upgrade:
A VIP upgrade is an add-on after you’ve purchased the festival admission ticket.

Audi presents Wilderness (1–4 Aug, Oxfordshire)
Wilderness has found its home in the delightful Cornbury Estate in Oxfordshire since the early 2010s. The festival is renowned for its boutique style, its delicious food and its phenomenal calibre of acts – with expertly curated line-ups that bounce between indie, electronic, world and singer/songwriters, Wilderness delivers all the whimsical hedonism and escapism you’re looking for.
In 2024, the four day festival takes place on the first weekend of August and features Barry Can’t Swim, De La Soul, Faithless, Jessie Ware and BICEP present Chroma.
As it’s a four day festival, set in the English countryside, the VIP packages are largely focused around camping, comfort and accommodation.

Wilderness Meadow Camping provides a hassle free experience, with your tent already set up, unfurnished but pre-pitched in Meadow Accommodation.
Just pull up, put your bags down, roll out your yoga mat and your sleeping bag and then get straight into the festival goodness. Meadow Camping also provides luxury facilities and a pamper parlour.

Camp Bestival Dorset (24–28 July, Dorset)
Camp Bestival is the Disney movie of festivals. Wholesome, family-friendly fun. It’s even held at a castle.
Since its inception in 2008, Camp Bestival has been held every July in Dorset (and now also extends to Shropshire).
The line-up never disappoints. 2024 is headlined by Paloma Faith, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, McFly and Pete Tong: Ibiza classics with the Essential Orchestra.
Beyond the music, Camp Bestival knows how to keep you (and the kids) entertained. Think silent discos, wild swimming, a roller disco, yoga sessions, and a craft village.

6. Camp Bestival Dorset – Pre-Pitch Camping

Camp Bestival Shropshire (15–18 Aug, Shropshire)
Camp Bestival Shropshire packs a similar dose of fun to its Dorset sister, with a slight variation in the line-up – Faithless and Rick Astley join the bill (among a few other changes and additions).

9. Camp Bestival Shropshire – Manor House

Latitude (25–28 July, Suffolk)

Liquid Death presents Download (14 –16 June, Leicestershire)
Download is one of the world’s best rock festivals, held annually since 2003 when it replaced the 1980s and 90s Monsters of Rock festival at Donnington Park. In recent years, Download has since expanded to Paris, Sydney, Melbourne, and Germany.
Headlined by Queens of the Stone Age, Fall Out Boy and Avenged Sevenfold, 2024 marks Download’s 21st birthday, so you know it’s going to be an extra big party.

Twin music festival, Reading & Leeds, has a storied legacy dating back to the 1960s. It’s held annually on the UK bank holiday weekend in August.

Launched in 2017 as a one-day event, The Cambridge Club expanded to a three-day weekend in 2021 at the historic Childerley Orchard near Cambridge.

Big Smoke Festival
For fans of hip hop and dance, Skepta’s Big Smoke Festival is one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the London summer. The one-day music event debuts at Crystal Palace Park on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

Rather than a jam-packed day or weekend festival, BST Hyde Park sees headliners perform across three weekends from late June to mid July. It’s a celebration of both London’s summer and live music.
Since its debut in 2013, BST Hyde Park has hosted massive names – bound by no genre – on its Great Oak stage. 2024 is no exception.
