British comedy mainstay Frank Skinner, The Daily Show host Trevor Noah and comedian Ellie Taylor have announced rescheduled dates, moving their respective headline runs into 2021.

It comes as the West End production of The Drifters Girl announces it will open at London’s Garrick Theatre on 4 November 2021, and British hard rockers Thunder postpone to May 2021.

Skinner – whose career includes high profile acting and presenting roles across TV and radio – will now bring his Showbiz tour to venues throughout the UK in January 2021, kicking off in Liverpool and running through to Salford.

The comedian promises stories about his life that coincidentally feature other celebrities in some way. Speaking to Ticketmaster back at Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2019, Skinner noted: “What I like about Showbiz is that on the poster, I look about 187. I look like a battle scarred old veteran, and underneath me in shocking pink letters is the word Showbiz. I like the tragic juxtaposition of that.”

The Daily Show host and stand-up comedian Trevor Noah – who has been busy dissecting the actions of President Trump in recent months – is now gearing up to bring his acclaimed blend of observational and political comedy to London’s The O2 in September 2021.

Celebrated as the most successful comedian in Africa, and one of South Africa’s most prominent exports, Noah moved to the United States in 2011 before taking on hosting duties of Comedy Central’s flagship show four years later.

His stand-up career celebrates multiple Netflix specials as well as appearances on a number of UK television panel shows.

Ellie Taylor will now tour across the UK throughout May and June 2021, hosting her Don’t Got This tour. Her career to date includes appearances on the likes of QI, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Mock The Week, as well as being called “charismatic, personable and bright” by comedy tastemakers Chortle.

Her shows kick off in Crewe on 21 May 2021 and include an appearance at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre on 18 June 2021.

The Drifters - Under the Boardwalk

Starring Beverley Knight in the lead role, The Drifters Girl will now open at London’s Garrick Theatre on 4 November 2021. The new musical follows the world’s first female African music manager and her husband as they steer the career of the legendary doo-wop group The Drifters.

The musical features tracks such as Save The Last Dance For MeStand By MeSaturday Night At The Movies and Under The Boardwalk.

London hard rock outfit Thunder have also confirmed rescheduled dates, taking to stages from 13 – 23 May 2021. The influential band released their 12th studio album, Please Remain Seated, in 2019.

All tickets purchased through Ticketmaster for the original dates remain valid for the newly announced shows, and those affected will be contacted by our Customer Services team.
