Olivier Awards 2018: all the winners

Hamilton, The Girl from the North Country and The Ferryman all win big

Last night’s Olivier Awards celebrated all that’s great about British theatre with a lavish ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Hosted by comedian and actress Catherine Tate, the awards saw Lin-Manuel Miranda’s huge musical Hamilton romp home with seven awards (it was nominated for a massive 13). Other big winners on the night were Bob Dylan-inspired musical The Girl From the North Country and Jez Butterworth’s acclaimed new play, The Ferryman.
