Full West End cast announced for Love Never Dies in Concert at the London Palladium
The Phantom of the Opera sequel returns to London this October – here’s who’s starring alongside Jamie Muscato and Celinde Schoenmaker
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies has revealed the full cast heading to the London Palladium this autumn. The concert production, running from 16–18 October, brings the sequel to The Phantom of the Opera back to the West End as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations for the beloved musical.
As previously announced, Jamie Muscato and Celinde Schoenmaker will lead the production as the Phantom and Christine. They are joined by George Blagden as Raoul, Courtney Stapleton as Meg Giry and Mazz Murray as Madame Giry.
Announced today are Holly James (Moulin Rouge! The Musical) as Fleck, Nic Greenshields (Les Misérables) as Squelch and Charles Brunton (Matilda The Musical) as Gangle.
The wider company features Leslie Garcia Bowman, Georgia Joan Clements, Sally Frith, Christian Knight, Louis Mackrodt, Gleanne Purcell-Brown, Hollie Jane Stephens and Tommy Wade-Smith.
Set 10 years after the Phantom vanishes from Paris, Love Never Dies sees him building a new life for himself in Coney Island, as his obsession with Christine endures. When Christine, Raoul and their young son Gustave arrive in America, unknowingly lured there by the Phantom himself, old wounds are reopened and long-buried secrets rise to the surface.
Love Never Dies returns to the West End following the award-winning staging presented in 2023 at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The concert production is directed by Shaun Kerrison, with choreography by Joanna Goodwin, set and costume design by Rebecca Brower, lighting design by Tim Deiling, sound design by Paul Gatehouse and music supervision by Simon Lee.
The sequel returns as The Phantom Of The Opera enters its 40th year in the West End. Since its 1986 debut, the musical has been seen by more than 160 million people worldwide.
