After nearly five years in the West End, The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time has announced it’s final run.

The last performance at the Gielgud Theatre will be on Saturday 3 June 2017, with the show touring across the UK from January and into North America towards the end of the year.

The adaptation of the best-selling book by Mark Haddon, Simon Stephens stage production has won a record-breaking seven Olivier Awards, including Best New Play, Best Director, Best Design, Best Lighting Design and Best Sound Design.

In the West End, The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time has been at the Guelgud Theatre since 2014, having moved from the Apollo Theatre and the Cottesloe Theatre.

The show tells the story of 15 year old Christopher Boone, who has an extraordinary brain; and is exceptional at maths while ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He sets out to solve a mystery of who killed his neighbour’s dog, but his detective work takes him on a frightening journey that upturns his world.
