Greg Rusedski, Mark Philippoussis and Mansour Bahrami are the latest names to be added to this year’s celebratory Champions Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall, set to take place between Thursday 30 November and Sunday 3 December 2017.

The players join two-time US Open winner Pat Rafter, British fan favourite Tim Henman, French Open winner Juan Carlos Ferrero, former World No.1 Marat Safin, and Roland-Garros doubles champion Henri Leconte. More players are expected to be announced soon.

Rusedski celebrates a dazzling career on the court, at his height reaching No.4 in the world rankings, and as former British No.1. He formally retired from the sport in 2007, ending a career that saw him reach the US Open final against Pat Rafter in 1997. His success saw him win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year and ITV Sports Champion of the year Awards.

He is perhaps best known for his serve, holding the record for the fastest ever recorded at 149mph.

Greg Rusedski appeared at Wimbledon this year, taking part in the Gentlemen’s Invitation Doubles alongside Fabrice Santoro and meeting fellow Champions Tennis competitors Bahrami and Philippoussis.

Mark Philippoussis turned professional at 18, and went on to win 11 singles titles to be crowned the World No.8. He reached the US Open final in 1998, and the Wimbledon final in 2003.

Bahrami has made a name for himself in Champions Tennis as a true entertainer, having played every year since its inception in 1997. His on court showmanship has entertained the masses since. During his professional career, Bahrami reached the 1989 French open men’s doubles final, as well as competing in many tournaments across the globe.

This year’s special event at the Royal Albert Hall marks 21 years of Champions Tennis. Running from the 30 November until the 3 December, it welcomes the greatest players on the grandest stage, making it the ultimate season finale for the ATP Champions Tour. Each day features daytime and evening session.

Over the course of the event, the Royal Albert Hall has welcomed the likes of John McEnroe, Boris Becker, Andy Roddick, Pete Sampras, Stefan Edberg, Goran Ivanisevic, and Bjorn Borg. There have also been special appearances from Andy Murray, Jamie Murray, Sir Elton John, Billie-Jeak King, and Novak Djokovic.
