EE returns with The Wembley Cup for charity
The Wembley Cup with EE sees YouTubers and international football legends head to Wembley Stadium this October.
Wembley Stadium connected by EE will play host to another epic showdown on Saturday 7 October when YouTubers Spencer FC and F2 Freestylers clash in a charity match.
To accompany the event, an eight-part Road to the Final series will be broadcast on Spencer FC’s YouTube channel and the EE website from September. View the trailer below:
The series will follow YouTube footballing sensations Spencer Owen (Spencer FC) and the F2 Freestylers as they prepare for the charity match in October.
Last year, Spencer FC’s Hashtag United beat Joe Weller’s Weller Wanderers 7-4 in a thrilling final. This year, the superstar F2 Freestylers are building a new super team to take on Spencer FC in what promises to be a mighty showdown.
Fifteen of YouTube’s finest will be fighting to win places in the F2 Super Team starting eleven by proving themselves in six Super Tests – a series of challenges designed to push their skills to the limit, including precision passing, unstoppable power and perfect finishing.
The clash at Wembley Stadium will also feature international football legends providing a boost to the two YouTube teams. The legends appearing will be revealed soon.
The not-for-profit event will also donate £2 from every ticket to Sport Relief, who bring together the entire nation to get active, raise cash and change lives. Their work helps people both here in the UK and in the some of the world’s poorest communities.
Tickets are on sale for just £15. Get yours now at Ticketmaster.co.uk.
