Strictly Come Dancing Live announces the first three celebrities joining the UK arena tour
Britain’s favourite live ballroom event has revealed its first lineup of stars hitting the road this January
As Strictly Come Dancing Live prepares to return to our stages this January, the live ballroom dancing event has revealed the first three celebrities that will be joining the judges on the road.
Gladiator and OlympianMontell Douglas, actress Sarah Hadland andactor and singer Shayne Wardhave been announced as the first three celebrities joining the tour, with more names to follow. All three are part of the current season of the show and will join judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse along with host Janette Manrara for an unforgettable spin up and down the country.
Kicking off at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on 17January, Strictly Come Dancing Live will see the celebrity contestants competing with their pro partners for the chance to lift the Mirrorball trophy each night, with the decision ultimately left in the hands of the audience.
“Strictly fans on tour – are you ready?” asks Montell Douglas. “I’m beyond excited to be joining the live tour! I’ve heard amazing things about audiences all over the country. Bring on January – I can’t wait to hit the road and share this incredible experience with you all!”
“I’m very excited to be joining the Strictly Live Tour – I’ve been having such a ball on the TV show!” says Sarah Hadland. “And after the amazing experience of performing in Blackpool at the weekend, I’m delighted that I’ll be able to continue this fabulous journey on the tour in 2025!”
“I’m buzzing to be on the tour next year,” says Shayne Ward. “I’ve sung in many of the venues before, so I know the amazing atmosphere that the arena audiences bring. I’m looking forward to seeing all the fans there!”
The three celebs, along with more big names yet to be announced, will also visit Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham, before wrapping up the tour on 9 Feb at The O2 in London.
