Interview: Ben Fogle on Tales of the Wilderness

The TV adventurer is hitting the road throughout November 2019 and early 2020.

Join Ben Fogle for an inspiring and incredible evening of storytelling and adventure throughout November 2019, and into early 2020, as he hits the road with his Tales of the Wilderness tour.

Expect tales from his adventures swimming with crocodiles to conquering Mount Everest, from crossing Antarctica to rowing across the Atlantic. The much-loved TV adventurer will recount these thrilling tales (and more) with warmth and honesty, giving fans a rare chance to discover more about Ben’s amazing adventures and exhibitions from the man himself.

The latest leg of the tour kicks off in Oxford on 4 November 2019. Following a run of 15 dates throughout the month, Ben will return to the stage in late January, February and March 2020, culminating with a show at London’s Cadogan Hall on 27 March 2020.

Ahead of the shows, Ben sat down to discuss what fans can expect from the tour, and much more. Watch the interview above.

Ben first rose to prominence as one of the original islander of BBC One’s year-long series Castaway 2000. Since then he has hosted showing including Animal Park, Countryfile and New Lives in the Wild.

In 2018 he summited Mount Everest, was the first to cross the line in the pairs division of the 2005–2006 Atlantic Rowing Race, partnered by Olympic rower James Cracknell – who, he has since partnered with on several other exhibitions since – and, among other accomplishments, has also completed the six-day Marathon des Sables across the Sahara Desert., the Bupa Great North Run, the London Marathon and the Royal Parks Half Marathon.
