Bruce Springsteen announces new record and shares video for first single ‘Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)’

Only The Strong Survive arrives in November and features 15 covers of classic soul songs

Hot on the heels of Jan Wenner dropping hints of a new Bruce Springsteen album, the man himself has confirmed a set of soul covers due for release on 11 November.

The record, titled Only The Strong Survive, will see Springsteen tackle a heady list of classics from the Walker Brothers, Jackie Shane, Diana Ross, Jimmy Ruffin and more. In tandem with the announcement, Springsteen shared the video for the first single from the record, a cover of Frank Wilson’s ‘Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)’. With Bruce not exactly shy about his long-standing love of soul music, it’s really only a wonder that this didn’t happen sooner.

Springsteen has already announced an extensive tour for 2023, including four UK dates and three in Ireland.
