Amber Davies is bringing Legally Blonde to the West End in 2027

Davies returns as Elle Woods after winning at the WhatsOnStage Awards and finishing runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing

Elle Woods is heading to LondonLegally Blonde The Musical will transfer to the London Coliseum from 22 March to 22 May 2027, with Davies reprising her starring role after the production’s sold-out UK and Ireland tour.

The run brings Davies back to a stage she knows well. She played Jordan Baker in The Great Gatsby at the Coliseum in 2025, earning the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Supporting Performer in a Musical for the role. Later that year, Davies finished runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing alongside Nikita Kuzmin.

Her West End CV stretches back to Judy in 9 to 5 the Musical at the Savoy Theatre. Since then, she’s played Lorraine Baines in Back to the Future The Musical and Campbell in Bring It On, before taking Vivian Ward around the UK in Pretty Woman. Elle Woods now brings her back to one of London’s biggest stages.

Legally Blonde The Musical follows Elle from California to Harvard Law, where a change of scenery rapidly becomes a chance to prove exactly what she can do. Heather Hach wrote the book, with music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin. The musical draws on Amanda Brown’s novel and the 2001 film starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Coolidge.

Curve artistic director Nikolai Foster directs the production, with choreography by Leah Hill. Foster’s recent musical work includes Kinky BootsThe Wizard of Oz and A Chorus Line, and this Legally Blonde production has been touring the UK and Ireland throughout 2026.
