Video: Dallas Green talks all things City and Colour at Reading Festival
We caught up with the brilliant Dallas Green at Reading Festival this weekend, as the Canadian musician flew in for main stage sets with Alexisonfire.
With City and Colour’s upcoming record, If I Should Go Before You, expected for release on 9 October, Dallas dished all on recording the new album alongside his full band and getting ready to take it on tour around the UK in 2016.
“I’m excited to come back and play new songs,” he told us. “I’m always happy to be able to do that.”
“I come from the world of being in a band,” he added, while talking more about his solo shows. “So when I first started City and Colour, it wasn’t to specifically be a solo project. The first record is me by myself because that’s just how it happened.
“It’s the same comfort I feel with Alexisonfire; it was that band feeling.”
