Two Door Cinema Club to headline Latitude Festival 2014
Two Door Cinema Club have been announced as the first headline act of Latitude Festival 2014.
It’s the first time the Northern Ireland band have headlined the Suffolk based festival, and it will be their only UK show of 2014.
Two Door Cinema Club’s Kevin Baird said of their headline appearance: “It’s really exciting for us to be headlining Latitude in 2014. Over the past 5 years we’ve made the progression from playing in the small tents to being close to the top of the bill on the main stage.
“Headlining a great festival like Latitude is obviously quite a big deal for us but we also feel like it is the next natural step. We’re ready to headline. We’re ready to smash it.”
Also confirmed for the ninth edition of Latitude are: Röyksopp and Robyn, Haim, Billy Bragg, Booker T. Jones, Anna Calvi, Phosphorescent, Nils Frahm, GOAT, Cass McCombs, Willis Earl Bearl, San Fermin, Marika Hackman, Son Lux and Josephine Foster.
Latitude Festival 2014 takes place July 17-20 at Henham Park, Suffolk. Tickets are on sale now at 2013 prices until January.
