Organisers of TRNSMT have announced the line-up for their 2021 event, having worked to secure the artists from this year’s postponed event.

Originally scheduled to take place in July 2020, the Glasgow based event will now run from 9 – 11 July 2021. Original tickets remain valid.

Courteeners, Liam Gallagher and Lewis Capaldi will headline the event, on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively.

The trio will be joined by the likes of Ian Brown, Foals, Snow Patrol and Little Simz.

Speaking of the line-up announcement, organisers say: “Over the next few weeks we will work to try to tie up those 2020 acts who haven’t been able to commit to 2021 yet or replace the few gaps in the schedule with other amazing artists.”

Lewis Capaldi - Someone You Loved

Scottish superstar Lewis Capaldi will take to the stage on Sunday 11 July 2021, having cemented himself as a UK chart mainstay with the release of his Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent debut full-length last year. He’ll be joined on the main stage by Snow Patrol, who last year released reworks of their catalogue, and pop icon Rita Ora, who recently joined a host of stars on the Live Lounge Allstars release of Foo Fighters’ Times Like These.

British indie veteran Liam Gallagher marks the release of his sophomore solo studio album Why Me? Why Not. with a headline slot on Saturday 10 July 2021, on a bill that includes Mercury Prize nominees Foals and East Sussex four-piece Keane.

Having released their sixth studio album in January 2020, Courteeners will headline the opening night of TRNSMT 2021, joined on the main stage by Stone Roses icon Ian Brown, and the rapidly rising Sam Fender.

Taking place from 9 – 11 July 2021, TRNSMT 2021 will once again boast a combination of huge names in rock, indie, rap and pop, as well as carefully selected newcomers.
