Queen Extravaganza: Taylor made…

The Queen Extravaganza graced The O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire last night with an electrifying gig, celebrating and honouring the long standing legacy and music of Freddie and his legendary troop. The two masterminds behind the show, Queen’s iconic drummer, Roger Taylor, and guitarist, Brian May, produced this show as a tribute for the generations of fans to reminisce and relive true rock.

More than 20 of Queen’s greatest smash hits, together with a couple of their hidden wonders, including Bohemian Rhapsody, Under Pressure, We Will Rock You and Radio Ga Ga, raised the roof, where the energy and passion catapulted throughout the venue. This touring musical experience was enhanced by the rare video footage from Queen’s extensive archives, which were cleverly meshed into the performance.

Last night, Mercury’s wish of “when I am dead, I want to be remembered as a musician of some worth and substance” came true. The legacy of rock history was deepened and imprinted on the hearts and soul of the audience.
