One Direction’s One The Road Again tour is in full swing, with the band wrapping up Sydney shows and beginning the Brisbane leg of the tour last week.
The HUGE tour sees 1D cross the globe from Australia to the UK, before hitting Ireland, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia, South Africa, Dubai, Canada and the United States.
So, what do we know about the tour so far?
Well, the setlist is PACKED with hits. A 23-song set sees the band storm through hits like Steal My Girl, Midnight Memories, Little Things, What Makes You Beautiful and Best Song Ever like it’s no biggie.

Just don’t pack your selfie stick for any Australian gigs. Last week Aussie fans had a number of items banned from stadiums, including those who’d gone to the lengthy measures of packing a selfie stick. So if Niall comes your way, just wave frantically and enjoy the blurred memories left on your phone.
‘For the safety and comfort of other patrons, selfie sticks are not permitted into the stadium for this event,’ read a statement on Suncorp Stadium’s website.
Alas, One Direction brought fireworks for Aussie fans to lap up, and lots of them. Reviews from Allianz Stadium said the boys’ set turned the sky deep red and sunset orange, with the band pictured taking their final bow below the dramatic displays.
Then they cover Uptown Funk. Oh yes, that’s right, the crowds down under went understandably bonkers when 1D busted out their very own rendition of Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ huge single.
Meanwhile, black has been the band’s go-to shade on stage – made up of signature skinny jeans, cut-off tops and shirts that blow beautifully in the wind. Ahem. That, and Harry Style’s admirable penchant for gold ankle boots.

It looks like the band are just as excited to be back on the road, too. Ahead of the tour, Harry tweeted: ‘On The Road Again is about to start, very excited to be back in Australia. Can’t wait to see everyone out there. All the love.’
While Liam wrote: ‘Today was like 1st day at school and u sit at your test paper and everything goes except there’s lots of people and I had no pen.’
‘Amazing first show! Love you Sydney!!!’ Louis added
McBusted and Samantha Jade are currently supporting the band in Australia, and we couldn’t be more excited for them to hit the UK.
One Direction’s On The Road Again tour arrives in the UK this October. Will you be there?
