The newly announced The O2 show will mark the end of Lewis’ campaign in support of his record-breaking debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.

Released back in May 2019, the record debuted at No.1 on the Official UK Albums Chart where it stayed for six consecutive weeks, becoming the biggest selling artist album of 2019.

At the time of writing the LP sits at No.2 on the UK charts, more than eight months after it was released.

The album’s success was bolstered by the huge global smash single Someone You Loved which topped charts in both the UK and the US, and was nominated for Song of The Year at the most recent Grammy Awards.

First breaking through in 2017 with a series of tracks and EPs written in his bedroom, Capaldi has grown into one of the UK’s biggest and brightest stars.

The musician performed live at the most recent Glastonbury Festival in June, drawing a huge crowd to The Other Stage before performing a career-defining set at Glasgow’s TRNSMT Festival.

Lewis heads out on a sold out UK tour in March, before returning for festival season this summer – including a welcome return to headline TRNSMT 2020 – after which he’ll wave goodbye to this incredible era with two headline shows at The O2, London in October.

Tickets to see Lewis Capaldi live on tour are available now through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
