Here’s who is playing Wilderness Festival
Grace Jones, a live performance by Bonobo and Two Door Cinema Club lead the charge at this year’s Wilderness Festival.
Two Door Cinema Club top the bill on the Friday, with Grace Jones making her first Wilderness appearance to headline the Saturday, and Bonobo bringing his live experience to the event on the Sunday.
The announcement also includes First Aid Kit, Michael Kiwanuka, Ray Blk, Toots & The Maytals, Aurora, Jackmaster and Nightmares On Wax, plus more live music and entertainment, and food from the likes of Yotam Ottolenghi, Nuno Mendes and Thomasina Miers.
“Wilderness is my favourite festival and an event I look forward to every year,” says Mendes. “It’s a perfect mix of foodie, arts and music, with a beautifully scenic backdrop, and all within a family setting. I’m excited to be back and look forward to hosting a banquet this year.”
The announcement is split between the Widerness Main Stage in conjunction with BBC Radio 6, as well as the after-dark DJs and live acts playing at The Valley.
Foodies can enjoy all the action at Long-Table Banquets, Feasting Tents, The Chef’s Table and The Dining Room.
Today’s news also includes world-class music, theatre and dance, including an evening with Ronnie Scott presenting Lucky Peterson, Academy Award and BAFTA 2017 nominee Hauschka, and a Sunday of Nina Simone with The Wilderness Orchestra.
