Green Day confirm UK dates for February 2017 and we have all the ticket details

At last, Green Day have announced a European tour! With only three dates across England in February 2017 on their itinerary, these tickets are going to be hot property.

But it’s gonna be okay, because we’ve got together everything you need to know about the Green Day tour and getting those tickets in London, Manchester and Leeds, and put them in one place (here).

These dates are the first that Green Day have played in the UK since headlining Reading & Leeds Festival back in 2013, so why tour now? Well, the announcement coincides with a month to go until their greatly anticipated new album, Revolution Radio, is released on 7 October 2016. The record is sounding pretty awesome too, check out their latest single Bang Bang:

How do I improve my chances of bagging tickets?

With only three dates confirmed on our fair isles, we’re expecting Friday morning to be exceptionally busy. So, here are some tips on how to best prepare and increase your chances of securing tickets. Notepads at the ready!

1. Open your account and log in now

Get the details out of the way before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. We recommend checking passwords, delivery address and billing information now, to reduce any stress when processing your order later on. Head to and log in to your account to get started.

2. Don’t refresh your screen

Stick to one window when you’re being pushed through the virtual queue and always resist the urge to refresh. Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game.

Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen is actually doing something and will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

3. Remember the presale

If you are an existing member of the Green Day fan club, you will have access to a presale on Wednesday 7 Sept. You will be notified about this from the fan club.

On Thursday 8 September we will have a number of presale tickets available for fans who buy fan club membership – i.e. purchase the membership and gain access to presale tickets (limited availability). This will be available here.

4. Check when tickets are available – even once they’re on sale

Keep up-to-date with news at . If anything changes with Green Day tickets – anything at all – our social followers will be the first to know about it.

We send real time updates as the general sales happens, including any technical difficulties that might occur (there are a lot of Green Day fans, remember) and alerts on when new tickets come available. When we have popular tours come on sale, we try our very best behind the scenes to secure as many tickets for you as possible and here’s where you’ll know if we’ve been successful.

5. Don’t oversleep on Friday

That would be disastrous.

We said it before, we’ll say it again; Green Day tickets go on general sale at 9:00 on Friday 9 September 2016.
