Frank Turner announces intimate UK tour with special guests

After having just smashed his 10th year in a row at Reading and Leeds festival, Frank Turner delights UK fans by announcing an extensive UK tour.

In the lead up to his impending 2000th show, the diligent singer-songwriter will stop at small grassroots venues throughout November and December 2016.

10 years ago Frank Turner first played Reading and Leeds Festival after having attended the festival for years before that. Generally there’s a rule: you can’t be on the bill for more than two years in a row. But there’s a very special relationship that has only grown warmer and fuzzier between the singer and the festival. In 2016, marking a decade of appearances, Frank Turner delivered an extraordinary performance, more than worthy of the occasion.

The Get Better Tour will take place in 20 cities throughout November and December. Turner has partnered with Plus 1 so that £1 from every ticket sale goes to War Child; a charity supporting children and families affected by conflict and striving for a world where no child’s life is torn apart by war.

Turner said, “I’m very happy to be working with Plus 1 on this tour. £1 from every ticket goes to the good people at War Child, supporting children and families in communities affected by war all over the world. It feels right to use part of what I do to support such a good cause.”
