Everything you need to know about Horizon festival 2016
Horizon Festival has become the go-to destination for dance music fans who want non-stop partying, top artists, excellent value for money snow sports and unique experiences.
Here’s everything you need to know about Europe’s greatest party in the sky…
When and where is Horizon?
The 7-day festival takes over Bansko Ski Resort in Bulgaria between Saturday 12 and Thursday 17 March. The Bansko Ski Resort is the biggest ski resort in Bulgari, offering 70 km of slopes that are said to be perfect for both beginners and intermediate skiers. Nothing says hangover cure like a challenging black run, right? This is the fourth season the resort has hosted Horizon and it’s only getting bigger.
Who’s on the line-up?
Horizon books 120 international DJs including headliners Âme, Nina Kraviz, Goldie, Mala, John Talabot, Kink, Levon Vincent and Gentlemen’s Dub Club. Plus the festival hosts 30 parties, plus a batch of secret parties, hotel raves, super clubs and a thermal pool rave.
And when you’re not partying…?
Well there’s a champagne bar, food banquets, bowling arena, hot tub cinema, forest paintball wars, spa and of course, the slops! The beauty of the Pirin National Park is just around the corner too; the ideal getaway for a spot of me time during the festival.
How much does it cost?
A fraction of the costs in Alpine ski resorts, for starters. A festival ticket with full accommodation start at £175, plus booking fees.
Don’t forget!
You can add your ski hire package, along with your ski pass and return transfer, when you purchase your accommodation and festival tickets.
