Camp Bestival 2020 has announced that it’s ‘going to the movies’ this summer. The biggest family-friendly festival in the UK is set to go ‘larger than life’ as the Lulworth Castle venue in Dorset comes down with a dose of movie mania. Roll out the red carpet and get ready to join in the best Camp Bestival yet from 30 July to 2 August.

Camp Bestival celebrates a theme every year, with last year’s festival championing Heroes Vs Superheroes. This year’s blockbuster event promises to bring the magic of the silver screen to the festival field as the event introduces a brand-new open-air cinema, AV shows and sing-along movie nights.

The festival will showcase a wide variety of films over the years, from Hollywood classics to modern movies such as the Marvel series. Along with introducing the world of movies, there will be interactive acting workshops, screenwriting sessions and very special film-related guests, with much more to come.

The music line-up for 2020’s festival is yet to be announced. The 2019 edition featured headliners Lewis Capaldi, Jess Glynne and Nile Rodgers and CHIC. As ever, there’ll also be plenty of comedy, theatre, spoken word, cultural talks and activities, food and drink to enjoy.

Created by Rob da Bank, who also founded its now defunct sister festival Bestival, Camp Bestival takes place each summer at Lulworth Castle, Dorset. Each year is co-curated by Josie da Bank, transforming the Castle’s grounds with new creative areas, artworks and installations.

Order tickets by 10 December for a family Christmas treat and you’ll receive limited-edition Camp Bestival 2020 iron-on patches for the kids, a Camp Bestival Christmas card in time for the big day, plus an exclusive Josie da Bank illustrated line-up print early next year when the first 2020 acts are announced.

Camp Bestival 2020 takes place in Lulworth Castle, Dorset from 30 July to 2 August. Tickets are on sale now from Ticketmaster.co.uk.
