These BRIT Award winners have shows on sale now

The who’s who of the music industry congregated at London’s O2 Arena last night for the 2019 BRIT Awards.

Hosted by Jack Whitehall and featuring spectacular performances from Hugh Jackman, P!nk, Calvin Harris, Jorja Smith, George Ezra, The 1975 and loads more, 14 prizes were awarded on the night, with the lucky recipients taking home a one-of-a-kind trophy designed by David Adjaye.

Nearly all of last night’s winners will be performing live in the UK in 2019, either at their own gigs, a festival or a combination of both. Here’s who you can see.

The 1975 – British Album of the Year & British Group 

The 1975 - Sincerity Is Scary (Live From The BRITs 2019)

Manchester indie-pop makers The 1975 were big winners on the night, taking home two awards. The band were awarded the British Album of the Year Award for their latest record, A Brief Enquiry Into Online Relationships, as well as being crowned the Best British Group. The band also performed their single Sincerity Is Scary live at the ceremony.

Jorja Smith – British Female Solo Artist

Last year’s Best British Breakthrough Artist Jorja Smith had a night to remember at this year’s BRIT Awards. The singer wowed audiences with her captivating performance of single Don’t Watch Me Cry after taking home the well-deserved award for Best Female Solo Artist.

George EzraBritish Male Solo Artist

George Ezra ft The Hot 8 Brass Band – Shotgun (Live at the BRIT Awards 2019)

It took George Ezra almost four years to release the follow-up to his debut album Wanted on Voyage but boy was it worth it. Staying at Tamara’s was released in March 2018 and became last year’s biggest selling album by a single artist, earning George the BRIT Award for British Male Solo Artist.

George heads out on a sold-out headline tour in March and will be appearing at festivals such as TRNSMT, Neighbourhood and Latitude this summer. TICKETS

Tom Walker – British Breakthrough Act

Tom Walker wins British Breakthrough Act | The BRIT Awards 2019

A result that made Ticketmaster HQ very happy, the lovely Tom Walker took home the fan-voted award for British Breakthrough Act, endearing himself to the nation by thanking his Gran back home. Tom had a huge year with his breakthrough single Leave a Light On going top 10.

Sam Fender – Critics’ Choice

Previously won by the likes of Adele and Sam Smith, the winner of this year’s Critics’ Choice Award is Tyneside musician Sam Fender. The singer was in the back of a taxi when he found out the news. With his debut album set for release in 2019, we’re predicting it’s going to be a big year for Sam.

Calvin Harris – Best British Single & Best Producer 

Calvin Harris, Rag’n’Bone Man, Sam Smith, Dua Lipa – Giant / Promises / One Kiss (BRITs 2019)

Superstar producer Calvin Harris picked up his first and second ever BRIT Awards last night. His collaboration with Dua Lipa, One Kiss, earned the award for Best British Single, and the Scot also picked up the award for Best Producer. Plus, Calvin performed on the night, forming a supergroup with Sam Smith, Rag’n’Bone Man and Dua Lipa.

Little Mix – Best British Video 

Little Mix – Woman Like Me ft. Ms Banks (Live at The BRIT Awards 2019)

The Mixers did the quartet proud at the BRIT Awards, pushing them over the line to win the award for Best British Video for their track Woman Like Me feat. Nicki Minaj. The ladies performed the track earlier on that evening, with rapper Ms Banks taking over Minaj’s verse.

Drake – International Male Solo Artist

Drake wins International Male Solo Artist | The BRIT Awards 2019

Although he couldn’t be there on the night, Drake sent a video message thanking fans for the award for Best International Male Solo Artist, adding that he can’t wait to return “home” when he tours the UK next.

Ed Sheeran – BRITs Global Success Award 

Ed Sheeran wins BRITs Global Success Award | The BRIT Awards 2019

Let’s be honest, this award couldn’t have gone to anyone else. Accepting the award via video, as he is currently on tour in South America, the singer-songwriter’s latest album Divide hit the top of the charts in over 14 countries. Ed has spent much of the past year selling out stadiums all over the globe.

P!nk – Outstanding Contribution to Music

P!nk is a much-loved pop icon. The singer has a plethora of hits under her belt and has been a regular visitor to the UK throughout her career, working her way up from playing Dingwalls in Camden to Wembley Stadium. P!nk showed why she’s the boss, closing 2019’s BRIT Awards with an acrobatic medley of her best-loved hits.
