The band's forthcoming tour will now take place in 2021.
Rewind Festival will take to three locations during the summer of 2020, heading to Perth, Macclesfield and Henley-on-Thames.
The world’s biggest 80s music festival, all three Rewind Festival weekends will be headlined by Jimmy Somerville’s Big Band-Tastic Boogie on the Saturday, and by Scottish veterans Wet Wet Wet on the Sunday.
All celebrate a opening set by Queen Symphonic, delivering the iconic songs of Queen through a full symphony orchestra, a rock and roll band, and four soloist’s from the international production of the stage musical We Will Rock You.
The weekends will also welcome Billy Ocean, Bananarama, Trevor Horn Band, Nick Hayward, Roland Gift or Fine Young Cannibals, Hue And Cry, Grandmaster Flash, The Christians, Pete Wylie of The Mighty Wah!, and John Parr.
Each event will then welcome their own additional acts, including the likes of Heather Small, Soul II Soul and T’Pau.
For 2020, the vibrant neon coloured, fancy-dress filled party will also boast a brand new street food area, as well as Club Tropicana, an ’80s themed big top hosting a range of DJs, and the Electro Picture Lounge showing classic ’80s videos, documentaries and film footage.
Rewind Festival will also see the return of the inflatable church and the silent disco, plus camping and glamping options, themed bars, a funfair, a family zone, and fireworks.
Rewind Scotland will take place from 17 – 19 July 2020 at Scone Palace in Perth, followed by Rewind North from 31 July – 2 August 2020 at Capesthorne Hall in Macclesfield, and Rewind South from 14 – 16 August 2020 at Temple Island Meadows in Henley-on-Thames.
