Things to do in Scotland this month

When I wake up, well I know I’m gonna be… practising social distancing.

Explore our guide

Always strong when there’s a challenge, Scotland is full of determined, spirited folks – and although the coronavirus presents unprecedented times we will get through this, together.

As cities across country mobilise to respond to the impact of Covid-19, live entertainment is taking a back seat for the time being. Many music and sports venues, theatres, museums and cultural attractions have closed or are postponing activities. You can discover more details about how future events are being affected over HERE.

Although these aren’t the days of yore when Scottish people were in clans, during this time of self-isolation you can never have too much kinship – even if it’s just the online kind.

So our monthly guide of things to do in Scotland is changing a wee bit. Since social distancing is the new hot thing, as well as the best way to protect yourself from the infection, we’re creating articles to help you make the most of staying in.

Below you’ll find ideas, inspiration and quizzes for an array of activities including virtual gigs, theatrical presentations and much more that we’ll be updating regularly.

Of course, while you’re hunkering down in Scotland, take good care of yourself and your family – and keep the heid.
