Although he’s only officially released three singles so far, Thomas Headon has already made a considerable impact on the live music scene in London.

At 19 years old, Headon grew up as part of the streaming generation with access to the entire history of music at his fingertips, able to delve into billions of hours of the greatest music ever made and reconceptualise it into his own musical language.

This retrospective influence, tinged with vitality and relevance, shines through on Headon’s debut single Grace. Featuring his laid-back vocals over a classic era hip-hop beat, the track harks back to the mid-’90s, where artists such as sublime and Jurassic 5 ruled the airwaves.

The debut track has struck a chord, having been streamed more than 2 million times on Spotify and spawning countless views on Tik Tok. The track’s visuals feature over 100 video submissions from fans.

The musician has quickly built on the momentum with his second single, the hugely infectious ode to loneliness Clean Me Up, and latest release Car Window – a bopper of a track about instantly falling in love with someone whilst stopped at a red light. The video for the latter is essential viewing.

Born in London, Thomas relocated to Melbourne with his parents at the age of five. Growing up on a musical diet of artists like The 1975, Coldplay, Tyler The Creator and Rex Orange County, he started to write and record his own songs uploading them alongside a raft of covers to YouTube.

Building a big following online, Headon moved back to London in 2019 to continue his rise and has spent the past year playing sold out shows across the capital, whilst putting the finishing touches to his debut EP, due to drop this Spring.
