One week to go until Comic Relief’s Spectacular

Comic Relief is hosting an incredible night of stand-up comedy on 28 February 2019 at The SSE Arena, Wembley – and tickets are on sale now

The hilarious Alan Carr, Jimmy Carr, John Bishop, Katherine Ryan, Kerry Godliman, Sir Lenny Henry, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan and Russell Howard are among the giants of comedy performing.

Superstar comedian Nina Conti and rising stars Judi Love and Rosie Jones has also been added to the line-up with one week to go.

The one-off event will raising funds for the much-beloved charity, whose biennial telethon will return on 15 March and this year Comic Relief is asking the nation to come together and make a difference to people’s lives both here in the UK and around the world.

Headliner Russell Howard said,“Gigs like this are great as they help Comic Relief raise vital funds that enable them to help people here in the UK and around the world. Alan Carr, who will also appear on the night, said: The excitement really is building as we get ready to come together for the Comic Relief Spectacular on the 28th February. Comedy legend Lenny Henry – who also performs as part of the spectacular – co-founded Comic Relief with Richard Curtis in `985 and has presented the yearly telethon since its inception.

Since then, Comic Relief has raised over £1billion in an effort make a difference to people’s lives both here in the UK and around the world. The biennial live fundraier features unique performances and sketches from comedians and people from the wider world of entertainment, in return for the public’s donations.
