The West End Bake Off returns for 2016!
A collection of West End casts and crews will be baking in this year’s West End Bake Off to raise money for Acting For Others.
It’s hats off to the West End community, who are bringing back their West End Bake Off this summer after last year’s inaugural competition, which last year was judged by Dame Barbara Windsor and the legendary Christopher Biggins. The stakes are high, and reigning winners from The Mousetrap are not about to give up their crown without a fight.
In 2015 the event raised over £4,000 for Acting For Others, an organisation that represents 15 theatre charities and uses funds to offer emotional and financial support to members of the entertainment industry who have fallen on hard times through illness, injury or circumstance.
Fortunately for us, the event is open to the public, so we can all sample the tasty delights being offered up by our favourite West End stars. And since it is all for charity, they will be guilt free. Get along to the St Anne’s Church Courtyard, London W1D 6AF on Saturday 6 July from 11:00 to get involved.
Can’t make it to the Bake Off? You can still donate right here.
