Who: Pete Firman
Funny how: Pete’s skill for fusing magic and comedy has made him one of the most in demand magicians working on British television.

Who: Bridget Christie
Funny how: Bridget Christie does not wear her feminism lightly. She wears it heavily, like a suit of armour.

Who: James Acaster
Funny how:  James Acaster is a blisteringly funny and highly original stand-up comedian as well as a Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee in 2014.

Who: Josh Howie
Funny how:  Josh is a much in-demand stand-up comic, performing regularly at all the major comedy clubs around the UK.

Who: Pippa Evans
Funny how:  Pippa first made a splash on the comedy scene with an incredibly successful Edinburgh Fringe Festival where her debut solo show, Pippa Evans and Other Lonely People, was nominated for the if.comedy Best Newcomer Award 2008.

Who: Jack Carroll
Funny how:  The 14-year-old writes all of his own material and rose to the spotlight on the seventh series of Britain’s Got Talent.

Who: John Kearns
Funny how:  Having already been described as ‘a true comedy original’, this British comedian is a must-see.

Who: David Elms
Funny how:  Up-and-coming comedian David Elms was named the winner at the Musical Comedy Awards 2014.

Who: Alex Edelman
Funny how:  Boasting technical flair and a precocious authority, Edelman’s comedy is not to be missed.
