Watch The Prince of Egypt’s Footprints On The Sand

The brand new musical, based on the 1998 hit film, comes to London's West End next year.

Watch The Prince Of Egypt cast member Luke Brady perform Footprints On The Sand.

Footprints on the Sand is a new song that Moses sings before he has learned his true identity,” says composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz. “Despite the fact that he thinks he’s a rich and carefree Prince of Egypt, there is something at his core that longs for more.”

The song is taken from the brand new musical based on the classic animated movie, which is set to open in London next year, starring Luke Brady, Liam Tamne, Christine Allado and Alexia Khadime .

Best known for playing Anthony Hope in Jonathan Kent’s production of Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd, Luke Brady will take on the role of Moses.

Liam Tamne, who recently starred as Guiseppe Naccarelli in the South Bank Centre’s The Light in the Piazza will take on the role of Ramses.

Playing Tzipporah will be Christine Allado, who starred as Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds in the original London cast of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s smash hit Hamilton.

Alexia Khadime, who has starred in West End musicals such as Wicked, The Lion King, Les Misérables and The Book of Mormon will play the role of Miriam in the upcoming production.
