Take That’s musical The Band coming to London

Featuring the music of Take That, Olivier Award winning writer Tim Firth’s The Band is set to reach the West End from the 30 November 2018, booking at the city’s Theatre Rotal Haymarket.

The musical features the music of Take That, Britain’s most successful boyband of all time. Songs made famous by Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Robbie Williams accompany the tale of five friends attempting to fulfil their teenage ream of meeting their boyband idols.

The musical includes huge Take That hits Relight My Fire, Shine, Never Forget, Back For Good, Greatest Day and many more.

The Band has celebrated one of the most successful musical theatre tours ever, transferring to the West End for fifty performances only throughout the festive period, running from 30 November 2018 to 12 January 2019.

The touring production features AJ Bentley, Nick Carsberg, Curtis T Johns, Yazdan Qafouri and Sario Solomon, collectively known as Five To Five, winners of the BBC’s Let It Shine. They are accompanied by a live band and cast of 16, with a production created by the team behind Take That’s live shows.

The cast will continue their roles during The Band’s run at London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket.

Fans can experience their favourite Take That songs live when The Band reaches London in the winter.
