Pixar In Concert, combining scenes from some of the best ever animated films with a full orchestra, will tour the UK in April 2019. The four date run will take to Brighton, Manchester, London and Birmingham.

The music includes compositions by Randy Newman, Michael Giacchino, and Thomas Newman, spanning the history of the world renowned animation studio.
Pixar Animation Studios have become famous for their iconic scores and original songs, bagging the Best Original Musical or Comedy Score award nomination at the 1996 Academy Awards for their debut feature film, Toy Story. The same year also saw a nod to Randy Newman’s You’ve Got A Friend In Me as Original Song.
In March 2018, Pixar took home the Best Original Song award for Remember Me from Coco.
Other achievements at the coveted Academy Awards include Best Original Score for Up in 2010, Score and Song nominations for Wall-E in 2009, and the same for Ratatouille the previous year. The studio also boasts a number of Grammy Awards for their work.
To date, Pixar Animation Studios have released 20 feature films, as well as a plethora of short films. They launched with Toy Story back in 1995, with the fourth film in the franchise set to drop in 2019. Their most recent film release was The Incredibles 2, with music by Michael Giacchino.
