Paranormal Activity announces new cast for West End extension at the Ambassador’s Theatre

The hit horror production inspired by the film franchise will return to London this August

Paranormal Activity is back to haunt the West End this autumn, with performances confirmed at London’s Ambassadors Theatre from 11 August through to 7 November 2026. New casting information has also been revealed for the show’s extension: Ty Fanning (Othello, Crooked Cross) will play James opposite Ami Okumura Jones (My Neighbour Totoro, Scandaltown) as Lou, with Kirsty Bushell (King Lear, The Cherry Orchard) as Etheline Cotgrave. Pippa Winslow (Paranormal Activity, Bonnie & Clyde) will reprise her role as Carolanne following the original Leeds Playhouse staging and the show’s first West End run.

Written by Levi Holloway and inspired by the hugely successful Paranormal Activity film franchise, the stage production tells the story of James and Lou, who relocate from Chicago to London in search of a fresh start. But when the shadows of their past prove difficult to leave behind and unsettling events begin to mount, the couple find themselves confronting forces they struggle to understand.

Paranormal Activity is directed by Felix Barrett, founder and artistic director of immersive theatre company Punchdrunk, who made his major West End directing debut when the show first arrived at the Ambassador’s Theatre in December 2025 following its premiere at Leeds Playhouse in 2024. Originally announced as a 12-week limited season, huge demand for tickets led to multiple extensions, with Paranormal Activity’s first West End run eventually finishing in 25 April 2026. Now, once again, the show returns according to popular demand.

The wider creative team includes set and costume designer Fly Davis, illusion designer Chris Fisher, lighting designer Anna Watson, sound designer Gareth Fry and video designer Luke Halls.
