Lee Mack to make West End debut in The Miser – on sale now
Comedian Lee Mack will make his West End debut in The Miser, heading to London’s Garrick Theatre from 1 March 2017.
The BAFTA and British Comedy Award winner will join the previously announced Griff Rhys Jones in the new adaption by Sean Foley and Phil Porter of Moliere’s classic comedy.
Mack has become a household name through his appearances on BBC panel show Would I Lie To You, as well as Have I Got News For You, Nevermind the Buzzcocks and 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
The hilarious production follows Harpagon, played by Jones, as his fear of losing his wealth leads him to paranoia. In his desperation to find appropriate suiters for his children, Harpagon is faced with some big decisions.
Opening on 1 March 2017, tickets for The Miser are available now through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
