Latest from Sunset Boulevard – these stars to join Glenn Close on stage
Further casting has been announced for Sunset Boulevard which will star Glenn Close as Norma Desmond.
Michael Xavier (currently starring in Sheffield Crucible’s hit production of Show Boat) will join as Joe Gillis in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical. Alongside Xavier, Siobhan Dillon (finalist on How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?) will play Betty Schaefer and Fred Johanson (Evita, Les Misérables, Footloose) will play Max Von Mayerling.

Also starring in the production is:
Julian Forsyth as Cecil B DeMille, Mark Goldthorp as Sheldrake, Fenton Gray as Manfred, Haydn Oakley as Artie Green and James Paterson as Jonesy. Joined by Carly Anderson, Jacob Chapman, Ria Jones, Katie Kerr, Aaron Lee Lambert, Vicki Lee Taylor, Jo Morris, Ashley Robinson, Gary Tushaw and Adam Vaughan. Final casting will be announced shortly.

Sunset Boulevard will open for a limited run at the English National Opera’s London Coliseum between 7 April and 7 May.
The production is a partnership between English National Opera and GradeLinnit Company. Lonny Price will direct the run at ENO’s London Coliseum with a full ENO orchestra set to appear on stage alongside the cast.
