Heathers The Musical reveals full cast for London run and UK and Ireland tour

The cult musical will be the first show to open at Arts at Marble Arch this summer ahead of touring

Full casting information has been revealed as Heathers The Musical prepares to make a return to the London stage. The London cast will then travel with the musical as it embarks on a UK and Ireland tour.

Based on the cult 1989 film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, Heathers The Musical has won its own cult following since premiering in Los Angeles in 2013. The show then opened off-Broadway in 2014, before the revised London version opened at The Other Palace in 2018. Post-pandemic, the show opened at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in 2021 for a limited run, before returning to The Other Palace in late 2021 and playing until September 2023. A brief run at @sohoplace in 2024 preceded a UK tour – now the show returns once again as a bona fide West End phenomenon.

Leading the company is Gerardine Sacdalan (& Juliet) as Veronica, whose casting was revealed at West End Live. Joining her as mysterious love interest JD is Louis Hearsey.

The trio of Heathers will be played by Liberty Stottor as Heather Chandler, Jessica Ibadin as Heather Duke and Lou Henry as Heather McNamara.

Also appearing are Veronica Carabai as Ms Fleming/Veronica’s Mom, Sophie Manners as Martha Dunnstock, Markus Södergren as Kurt Kelly, Beau Jackson as Ram Sweeney, Reuben Browne as Kurt’s Dad/Veronica’s Dad/Principal Gowan, with Christian De-Gallerie as Preppy Stud/Officer, Ellouise Delooze as New Wave Party Girl, Caitlin Garcia as Drama Club Drama Queen, Alexander Howarth as Hipster Dork, Charlotte O’Rourke as Midwestern Surfer Punk, Thomas Oxley as Beleaguered Geek, Tola Sokoya as Young Republicanette, Carys Taylor as Stoner Chick and John Gurdían as Ram’s Dad/Big Bud Dean/Coach Ripper. There are a number of West End debuts in the cast.

Directed by Andy Fickman, with choreography by Gary Lloyd, Heathers will be the first show to open Arts at Marble Arch, a new 594-seat venue serving as the temporary home of the Arts Theatre.
