Harry Potter mania is totally taking over the Palace Theatre, here’s how…

London’s Palace Theatre is about to get one heck of a Hogwarts update following the arrival of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Westminster Council has now approved plans for the iconic West End theatre to hang Hogwarts banners outside.

So. Cool.

It was reported that the council had some reservations over whether the banners would be ‘discordant’ but plans were given the green light after the proposals were deemed to be in line with policies.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child opened for previews at London’s Palace Theatre last week.

Famed author JK Rowling -who also wrote this original story for stage – has been urging fans not to dish details of the show’s plot.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I and II follows the seventh book. Along with JK Rowling, the plays have been co-written by Jack Thorne and have been directed by John Tiffany.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child runs at the Palace Theatre until 2017.
