Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends coming to the UK

They'll be bringing their top selling classical album to these shores.

Bill Murray and Jan Vogler began collaborating having met at an airport in Berlin. Their show, coming to the UK in June for two special shows, combines the pair’s love of classical music and literature, celebrating the words of cross-Atlantic artists Twain, Hemingway, Whitman, Cooper, Gershwin and more.

The evening promises “a program that showcases the core of the American values in literature and music”, bringing together music and language.

Murray, renowned and revered for his predominantly comedy film career, starring in the likes of Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters, Lost In Translation and more. As an actor, he also stars in the forthcoming Wes Anderson film Isle of Dogs.

Vogler is a German born award-winning cellist, now living in New York. The pair will be joined by violinist Mira Wang and pianist Vanessa Perez.

Fans will witness the ensemble bring together classical music, literature, poetry and more.

Bill Murray & Jan Vogler released New Worlds last year, having since performed their show across the United States.

The pair reach London and Edinburgh in June.
