Things to do near The Producers
There’s tons to see and do near the Garrick Theatre, no matter what the weather. Just two minutes from the theatre is historic Trafalgar Square, where you’ll find Nelson’s Column, the famous bronze lions and the stunning fountain in the centre. This monument commemorates the 1805 Battle of Trafalgar and is a must-visit spot for London sightseers.
Right by Trafalgar Square you’ll find the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery, the former displaying artwork from the middle ages to the twentieth century, and the latter housing some of the world’s best portraits.
Six minutes away from the Garrick Theatre, Covent Garden offers plenty of exploration. You can snap photos in the Infinity Chamber, visit The London Transport Museum or admire the stunning costumes on display at the Royal Opera House.
Or, if you’re feeling lucky, you’ll find the Hippodrome Casino just two minutes from the theatre. This London hub houses four floors of gaming in three uniquely themed casinos, London’s largest dedicated poker floor, nine bars and many quality restaurants.

Bancone Covent Garden – A Michelin Bib Gourmand holder – so quality is guaranteed – this gorgeous Italian restaurant serves handmade fresh pasta daily. Their signature ‘silk handkerchiefs’ with walnut butter are definitely worth trying.
Restaurant 45 St Martins Lane – The essence of French summer is captured in this colourful menu, which boasts quality seafood, fresh vegetable dishes and rich sauces.

Browns Covent Garden – This stunning brasserie is housed in the Grade II listed Westminster County Court building and serves up brasserie favourites alongside imaginative seasonal creations. They pride themselves on catering to all dietary requirements, so they’re a safe bet for larger groups.

Shopping near The Producers
The Garrick Theatre is well suited for shopping. Covent Garden is just six minutes away, home to luxury fashion and beauty stores and world-renowned restaurants and bars. Thirteen minutes by foot you’ll find yourself in the heart of Soho, offering an eclectic mix of shops, from high street brands to cutting edge boutiques to one of a kind vintage stores.
Fifteen minutes away is Carnaby Street, a pedestrianised shopping street hosting top fashion and lifestyle brands and independent boutiques. If you know what you want, Oxford Street is the best place to go. Just a twenty minute walk from the theatre, it’s home to over 300 of your favourite brands, more or less guaranteeing that you’ll always find what you’re looking for.

Mr Fogg’s Tavern & Mr Fogg’s Gin Parlour – These twin venues offer different vibes, but both are lovingly and eclectically decorated. At Mr Fogg’s Tavern you’ll find a great list of beers and juicy punches in a Victorian-style drinking house, whilst at the Gin Parlour you’ll explore a diverse menu of over 200 gins, in a venue that serves as an ode to art and the theatre.

Tube stations and bus stops near The Producers
The closest tube stop to the Garrick Theatre is Leicester Square, which is just two minutes from the theatre on the Northern and Piccadilly lines. Charing Cross station is just four minutes away, and is on the Bakerloo and Northern lines. It’s also your closest National Rail stop. Other nearby stations are Covent Garden on the Piccadilly line and Embankment on the District and Circle lines. Multiple bus routes also drop off and pick up near the Garrick Theatre. It’s best to plan your route with TFL.
