London Premier Padel P1 is set for August this year, bringing together the world’s best players

Sela has announced that London Premier Padel P1, the UK’s first elite professional padel tournament, will come to at Olympia this summer. The tournament will take place on 4—9 August as part of the 2026 Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour. The first event of its kind in the UK, it will bring together the world’s best players, all meeting in one of the first professional sports tournament to be staged at Olympia’s heritage halls following a major £1.3 billion transformation.

The announcement comes alongside a boom for the sport across Britain, with new research from the Lawn Tennis Association showing that padel participation in Britain has more than doubled in the last year, rising from 400,000 in 2024 to 860,000 by the end of 2025. Facilities have quickly expanded to match demand – in 2020, there were just 69 courts when the LTA became the sport’s national governing body, and by the end of 2025 there were 1,553 courts across 559 venues in Britain.
