Full women’s field confirmed for Six Day London
The women's competition runs across the last three days of the cycling event.
With 47 days to go until the start of Six Day London, organisers have now confirmed the full women’s field, who will compete across the last three days of the event.
Six Day London takes place at the Lee Valley VeloPark between 24 – 29 October, with the women’s field competing from Friday 27 until Sunday 29 October.
This year will see each cyclist compete as individuals, and then – for the first time ever – join forces with an international team mate to compete in a 20km Madison in Sunday’s final session.
The three days hosting the women’s field are split into*:
27 October – 10km Scratch race (UCI class event), 10km Points race, Elimination Race
28 October – Olympic Omnium (UCI class event), 7.5km Scratch race, 7.5km Tempo race, Elimination race, 20km Points race
29 October – 10km Scratch race (UCI class event), 20km Madison race (UCI class event)

Tickets for the Saturday and Sunday have sold out, but fans can still catch the start of the exhilarating action on the Friday. Fans can also witness the men’s field, with tickets still also available for the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. British cycling hero Mark Cavendish has been confirmed, as well as Australian duo Cameron Meyer and Callum Scotson. Find them on Ticketmaster.co.uk.
With British riders Katie Archibald and Elinor Barker already announced, organisers have added fellow Brits Eleanor Dickinson, Megan Barker, Neah Evans, and Emily Nelson. Archibald and Barker hold the Olympic gold medal in the Team Pursuit, and are World Champions in the Omnium and Scratch Race respectively.
Additions also include Dutch cyclist Kirsten Wild, the 2015 World and European Champion in the Scratch race and 2017 runner up in the Omnium. Italian 2017 World Cratch Champion Rachele Barbieri also joins the field.
