Watch of the week: boygenius perform at Austin Airport Baggage Claim

The surprise performance kicked off Austin’s South By Southwest festival

Those touching down at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport got quite a surprise this Tuesday, when they were greeted at baggage claim by indie supergroup boygenius. Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker surprised onlookers with an acoustic set featuring music from their upcoming album, including singles ‘Emily I’m Sorry’ and ‘Not Strong Enough’.

The surprise set was part of Austin’s SXSW music conference and festival which takes over the city this week. Watch fan-captured footage of the performance here:
