The Traitors – Acts of Betrayal opens bookings for its five-play West End run
Nick Mohammed hosts five scripted versions of The Traitors, arriving at London’s Gillian Lynne Theatre from May 2027
Sharpen your side-eye: tickets for The Traitors – Acts of Betrayal are on sale now, ahead of the new stage production’s arrival at London’s Gillian Lynne Theatre in May 2027. The West End show takes the game at the heart of The Traitors and rebuilds it as a cycle of five scripted murder mystery plays, written by John Finnemore and directed by Robert Hastie.
Nick Mohammed will preside over proceedings as The Host, following his run as a finalist in the first series of The Celebrity Traitors. Claudia Winkleman has already done the ceremonial honours, swearing Mohammed in at Ardross Castle before he swaps the Highlands for Drury Lane.
Across Monday to Friday, the same characters enter the same story with different Traitors pulling the strings. Someone murdered or banished early in one version might reach the endgame in another, and each character gets their own turn under the cloak somewhere across the five plays. Every version tells a complete story in one evening, so one visit gives audiences the full game.
Saturday introduces an extra dimension. The audience votes to decide who becomes a Traitor, with that choice determining which scripted version is performed. Beyond that vote, the production remains fully scripted – the Round Table may be unpredictable, but nobody on stage is waiting for an improv prompt.
Finnemore arrives with Cabin Pressure among his best-known credits, while Hastie’s theatre work includes the Olivier Award-winning Standing At The Sky’s Edge and West End hit Operation Mincemeat.
