The Lumineers to headline State Fayre Presents at Glasgow Summer Sessions 2026

The Lumineers join The Proclaimers, KT Tunstall and rising US stars for a one-day festival at Bellahouston Park next June

Glasgow Summer Sessions will return in 2026 with a new one-day festival led by The Lumineers, promising a full tilt into folk-rock and Americana. The event – presented by State Fayre and set for 27 June at Bellahouston Park – is billed as a celebration of transatlantic musical kinship, mixing arena-filling US acts with Scottish artists whose songs have become part of the country’s cultural fabric.

The Lumineers will top the bill after two decades spent spearheading the folk-rock revival with hits ‘Ho Hey’, ‘Ophelia’ and ‘Stubborn Love’. Their appearance in Glasgow sets the tone for the new one-dayer, and hints at what we might expect from the upcoming State Fayre Festival in Chelmsford, a major new rock, country, folk and Americana-inspired event that’s running the same weekend in June 2026.

Sharing the stage in Glasgow are The Proclaimers, Dylan Gossett, KT Tunstall, fast-rising US country singer Avery Anna and Buffalo Traffic Jam.
