Phoebe Bridgers to star in London concert performance of The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Grammy-nominated artist will voice Sally at a live music screening of the Tim Burton film
A special live version of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas is coming to London’s OVO Arena Wembley. As the original film plays in the background, the BBC Concert Orchestra will provide a live rendition of the film’s score, joined by some special guests.
Danny Elfman, the original voice of Jack Skellington and the film’s composer, returns to perform his part live onstage. Ken Page also reprises his role as Oogie Boogie. International recording star Phoebe Bridges will sing as Sally, following in the footsteps of Billie Eilish, who voiced Sally in a similar event last year.
Original voices Greg Proops and Randy Crenshaw will also be performing, whilst Angie Jaree, Baraka May and Fletcher Sheridan will be singing in Halloween Town. Violinist Sandy Cameron will also take to the stage to perform the ‘Skeleton Entr’acte’. The BBC Concert Orchestra will be conducted by John Mauceri.
Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas will play in the OVO Arena for just two nights only on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 December. Find tickets here.
