Louis Theroux’s ‘Jiggle Jiggle’ was one of the most popular songs on TikTok this year

The filmmaker’s Duke & Jones collaboration ranked sixth on the list after it went viral earlier this year

Here’s the excuse you didn’t need to blast Louis Theroux and Duke & Jones’ outrageously catchy ‘Jiggle Jiggle’ once more – the track has officially made TikTok’s end of year Global Top 10 list. In fact, the remixed interview clip has beaten some of the year’s most popular ‘real’ songs, such as Bad Bunny & Chencho Corleone’s ‘Me Porto Bonito’ and Lizzo’s ‘About Damn Time’. Such is the nature of TikTok.

Coming in at the top spot was ‘Ginseng Strip 2002’, a track by Swedish rapper Yung Lean that was recorded all the way back in 2013 but gained a new life on the app this year.

Another older track that experienced a resurgence on TikTok in 2022 is Demi Lovato’s ‘Cool For The Summer’, originally released in 2015. The song underwent the popular speeding-up treatment and went on to become a viral sound.
